This is my wind chime that hangs off a tree in the back yard. It has a medium tone and is pleasurable company on a summer evening. It has seen it's years, about 17 of them, has had some surgeries and some amputations but to my eyes it is lovely just the same. What I really wanted to show you were all of the different lichens I found growing on the top of it when I went to hang the bird feeder. There are pictures on my photo blog.

I like this one! I can hear the medium tone from here. I can see a style developing in your drawings. One month of drawing every day--impressive! Isn't it neat that the lichens were growing on the top of the chimes. I like chimes too.

OH HOW PRETTY, TAmi! Don't you just love wind chimes! Ours haven't quite lasted as long as yours -- and we're in need of a new one -- I SO miss that tinkling! Super job on the lichens, too ... isn't it funny how these seem to form the best shapes and colors!
