I am ready for spring! Although, the hills are greened up it has been too wet for most of the flowers to really get going with their blooming. These are picture from my yard last spring.

I have not had the pleasure of visiting your blog before ... I'm so glad to find you! WHAT AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL photographs! My favorite flower is the morning glory -- in fact my husband and I used that flower throughout our wedding ceremony and it remains the name of my small business! You captured it gloriously! And your photos of the marsh -- I can almost smell the pluff mud! GREAT coloring too in your sketch of the pansy!

Thank you Lin. I am glad you stopped by. I stop by your blog often and really enjoy it. I enjoy photography just capture a moment and to use as an expression of thanks to the spirit of life.
I want to get better at field sketching. Still pluggin' away.

Beautiful butterfly pic! What kind of camera do you use?

Pansies are my plant crush of the last years. I just love being in a zone where you can grow them well into the fall.

Hi Nelumbo,

Thanks for stopping by. I use a Minolta A200. I was very pleased when this butterfly opted to pose for me!
