Great Blue
On a hike with the dogs the other morning, I looked across the water and spotted this Heron looking for something to eat...He stayed in the same position for long enough for me to quickly grab a sketch of him...forgot to leave enough white of the paper to suggest waves...I need someone to follow me around and remind me of all these little details...LOL

I admire your ability to capture atmosphere Tami...like this one again, you've captured that calmness and tranquility. I actually like it for not having waves! It isn't reality you're conveying here but atmosphere...love it!

What a very obliging heron, to pose for you. LOVE your rocks...the color variety and black lines are just fantastic! The smooth water really accentuates the roughness of the rocks. Well done, you!
How thoughtful of him to pose. the rock work here is fabulous too.
