Testing new paints

Just loaded MY paints into my travel paint set. I haven't used it much because I didn't like the student quality paints in it once I got used to my artist paints. At lunch today I was just playing around trying out the paints and my water brush. I added the background after I got home tonight. I am very pleased with both the paints and the water brush.

Very Georgia O'Keefe with the giant flower against the sky. I hope you'll enjoy your little paint set now. I sure like mine, and even though I bought the set with artists quality paint I've replaced half of them with my tube paints.

very delicate - what brand paints are they then - or are they a mixture of favourites.

Great job, Tami. I, too, wondered what brand you used. That blue just pops off the page.

For those of you that asked, I most of my paints are Daniel Smith's the colors are very rich. I do have a few Winsor & Newton artist paints in the mix too. I have learned to use my colors less deluted as I like strong rich colors. I am finding that I am doing less strenghting in photo shop these days I am doing it on the original.
