Eucalyptus at Sunset

No, this is not what I have been working on the last couple of days; I had just enough knowledge to get started and scare myself, so that isn't finished yet. I think I will ask for Jana's help on Saturday : )

This is from a picture impression, left in my minds eye, this evening when I took the dogs for a run at sunset. Once again, I was trying to do a graded wash in my sketchbook, you'd think I'd get it by now, the paper isn't thick enough to do a good job! However, it is quick, cheap and the right size!

This is very nice. My favorite part is the red color blobbing near the mountains in the center and the cool color you used for the tops of them. I also really like the compositions of your watercolors, very striking in my opinion.

This is fabulous! You've done an excellent job with the gradated wash and it's hard to believe it isn't on "good" paper! Excellent palette and very good composition.

I really enjoyed this one, especially the colors of the sky. Sunrises, and sunsets, the best times of the day.

I really admire your ability to capture a beautiful image like this with all it's glorious detail and be able to get it down on paper. The sunset is beautiful and the trees have such life and spirit! Nice work. I'll look forward to seeing it in person.

The colors and touch you are able to project in your work is wonderful! I'm looking at all of them and I love what you said about drawing your grandmother (meditation). Beautiful.
