Breezy

"Whirlin' and swirlin' and dancin' along..." I love the dance of the leaves; a decent rustle will stop me in my tracks (same thing happens at the sound of the geese flying over). I decided to use that for the breezy challenge. In an attempt to make them look like they were on the ground spinning and dancing, I tried using shadows behind them; wish I had left good enough, alone. I still like the perspective, just need more info on how the do it right...

Nice Tami. I like the bold lines, bold colors, strong perspective. Tons of artistic creativity here. If I am to suggest anything it would be bolder edge delination in the leaves as well. I often prefer a less illustriative, impressionistic flair, but here everything is so strong I prefer crispness. What do you think?

Michael,

You are probably right, however, in trying to fill in around the leaves with the black, I lost my strong edge. I am afraid if I tried to go back in too much, things would start to turn to mud. The street started out grey but I changed my mind and decided on a light black instead. So, there you have it.

Tami,
These leaves are so colorful and imaginative. I like your perspective as if you were higher and looking down and out at them.
