I was out sketching again yesterday, this time I went with a friend, the first time we have done that, lots of fun! The tombstone is on a down hill slope but not as much as what I have drawn it (the cruse of ink is that you can't erase). While I was drawing it, a lady bug happened to land on me, so I had to draw her also.

Tami, I love how you added that lady bug, it just makes it so real and cute! Now that I am settled in a bit, I have been looking through your sketches and enjoyed them all. Sorry it took me so long to get here.
Good sketching, Tami. I agree with Teri, the ladybug is an inspired touch. Is that an agave in the 2nd picture?
